It seems as though I have a connection with the texts, I even share William’s birthday and I find myself ad-libbing iambic pentameter on a quite frequent occasion. What an awesome opportunity! I used to read a condensed version of MSND every night before going to bed, but I guess that’s what you’re akin to people who are obsessed with Shakespeare. Even though I didn’t understand the humor of the story when I was little, and always fell for the shallow drama of the Athenian lovers, I look back at it and appreciate the timelessness and elusive honesty of Shakespeare. It would be magical to participate in such a dynamic play. Love this play! Kind of takes the punch out of some of his more sullen work.
