A new Netflix Original Movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal is now casting men and women for various scenes. The film will be shooting July 17th through the 24th in New York City. This movie was only recently announced, but it will surely be a hit like most of the Netflix Originals before it. Last year, Idris Elba starred in the war film titled, Beasts of No Nation. This movie streamed strictly on Netflix, but it was such a big hit that local movie theaters picked it up so people without Netflix could enjoy it. This new movie will follow the same formula.
There is not much known about the plot at this time, but it centers around the friendship between a girl and an animal named Okja. Netflix invested over $50 million to create this film.
