If you are in Charlotte, NC and would like to become a part of a paid TV show as an extra, it’s your day. A new show in Charlotte is currently looking for people to play smaller roles in a new TV series titled “Shots fired”.

About the TV Show “Shots Fired”

Fox Entertainment has a new series up their sleeves called “Shots Fired” for which they are currently seeking extras to play smaller roles in the series. The heart of the drama is to talk about the racial tensions in United States which have increasingly escalated. The show will try to portray the real causes for this upsetting unrest in US involving school and police shootings which was the cause of the “Black lives Matter” campaign to surface. The show will portray real life issues and incidents that served as the ultimate warning for higher security in the states. The show directors have keenly selected the best actors and actresses to play the leads. Oscar winner Helen Hunt, True Blood star Stephen Moyer and Richard Dryfuss will be part of the show, portraying different roles on and off.

According to The Imagine, this series will be an event based series, created by Gina Prince-Blythewood who also created shows like The Secret Life of Bees and Beyond the Lights and Reggie Rock Blythewood who created notorious and Beyond the Lights. Gina will be the director whereas Rock Blythewood will handle the playwriting. Both of them can be credited as executive producers.

The new show’s story will be based on racially charged shootings that happened in Tennessee a little while ago which results in an outrage and distrust in the whole community, according to Variety.

The beautiful actress from Love and Basketball, Sanaa Latham, will be starring in as the lead investigator who has been assigned the case to find out the truth behind these racial killings. Another special agent from the department of Justice joins in with her on the investigation. Together they will try to solve the case and restore justice and peace in the community.

Casting Calls Notice

David Madden, the president of Fox Entertainment, believes this is a really important story to tell. His very exact remarks on the need for filming a story based on this idea were, “This is not only an important story to tell, but also an explosive mystery-thriller, and we couldn’t be in better hands both with the creative team behind this, along with the very talented Sanaa Lathan leading the cast.”

The show directors are currently looking for a local cast to work as extras, photo-doubles, stand-ins etc.

The auditions set to happen on Tuesday 24th May 2016, the directors are desperately looking for Caucasian males in Charlotte, NC.

Interested males and females aged 18 above and Caucasian will be preferred. Also to note, the applicant selected must make they available for a 12+ hours/day and will be paid $64/8.
