NBC Auditions for “The Voice” New Season

The well known and critically acclaimed Emmy Nominated Talent Show “The Voice” is on another hunt again! They are in search of more talent for a new season of the show. The filming continues this year for this nationwide talent show looking for the best of the best singers and performers. The singing competition show has swept the ratings of their similar competitors in singing competition and is looking for more and better talented singers for their next season. The Voice is hosted by the infamous old TRL host Carson Daly, with Alison Haislip as the social networking and backstage correspondent for the show.

During the series of blind auditions and battle phases, each talent also gets a chance to perform live in front of the critically acclaimed four judges. Not only are they the contestant judges, but they also coach each talent during and before their performance or competition. Each judge then decides what their opinion of it is and decides who stays and who goes.  After the final 4 have been selected, the audience decides who will be winning the competition. The show’s judges include Grammy Award winning Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, and another two Grammy nominated artists Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton. They have been on board since the start of this show.

Singers sometimes get visits from other performers and celebrity singers such as Christina Milian, Monica, Sia, Reba McEntire, and music producer Adam Blackstone. In the season finale they even get to perform with some of their favorite singers and talented people they look up to.

All talent who are interested in competing for “The Voice” must apply within. By sending your information along with a professional head shot you will open your chances to be a part of another round of auditions for the show. “The Voice” is a great start for any singer looking to make it in not only the music business but also the entertainment world. Apply at your local casting department immediately and have a chance to possibly audition for the show. Do not forget to bring your portfolio to auditions if you are selected. Good luck!

  1. I have always wanted to make a mark on the world. When I was a little girl I would dance around in my ballet shoes and gown while my mother would sing. I never could do my twirls correctly or dance like I would envision in my mind. I was never a dancer hahah! So one day I decided to pick up the Alicia Keys: Songs in A-Minor Album and I sung her famous song “Fallen”. I sung my heart out day in and day out and moved onto Pink’s albums and next thing I knew I was 7 years old trying to read the lyrics and sing until I got tired. I was in love! Ever since, I decided my passion in life was singing. When I am sad or going through tough situations nothing seems t help me until I start singing out my emotions. I have tried out for the Talent Show Audition for the Mud Cats and I got recruited! I even won my school talent show with singing! BUT I WANT MORE! I want to go far and do what I always wanted… to change lives with my voice… TO SING MY BUTT OFF!

  2. My friends and family keep suggesting I audition for THE VOICE. I love the feedback and coaching sessions the judges offer. It can only make me a better performer. My style is Pop/Jazz. I don’t think you have had anyone who sounds like me or who sings in that particular genre. Please give me a try.
