BET Hip-Hop Series Casting Extras

Casting directors need talent to work on various scenes in a new BET Network series set to film starting May 18 in Atlanta. They are specifically looking for actors to play police officers and African American men and women to play people at a fancy event .

About

BET is an American basic cable channel that started in 1980.  It was established to celebrate African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other forms of entertainment.

BET Networks is developing a scripted anthology series created by Irv Gotti.  The series will be titled, Tales.  It is about the amazing culture of hip-hop, how it started, and how it came to be what it is today. The show will adapt the lyrics of classic hip-hop songs into three-act, 60-minute episodes set to air at seperate times. Basically the series will take one song from a famous old school hip-hop artist and break it down and explain the story behind the lyrics!  Some of the confirmed song are N.W.A’s “F Tha Police” and Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “On the Run.”
