The movie Vengeance: A Love Story is directed by Nic Cage. It is a movie based on a 2003 novel written by Joyce Carol Oates with the title, Rape: A Love Story. A 30 year old single mother namely Teena is gang raped by some men and left all alone, for death. The entire torment and terrible suffering is witnessed by her young daughter, Bethie.
The matter is brought to the court where the victim is blamed herself for being provocative while her assailants are proved to be innocent by their big shot defense attorney. But a Gulf War experienced policeman namely Dromoor stands beside her and fights for her, taking justice in his own hands.
