About the Project

Casting directors are looking for actors, both male and female of ages between 5 and 16, belonging to various ethnicities. It is a nationwide hunt for talent. The casting is for a Disney film. The project is related to Disney’s TV movie, “A Wrinkle in Time”, which was based on a novel of the same name. The basic plot of the movie was based on two children’s quest to find their lost father. Their father, a scientist, goes missing during experimentation. They are helped in their mission by their neighbors.

Pat Moran Casting is looking for multiple casting to fill the various roles. They are looking for teenagers for two roles and a child of 5 to 7 years old for another role. They are seeking kids with exceptional acting skills and a thirst for learning.

Available Roles

They are looking for actors to play the following three roles:

1. MEG MURRY

• Gender: Female
• Age : 13 to 14 years
• Ethnicity: African American

2. CHARLES MURRY

• Gender: Male
• Age: 5 to 7 years
• Ethnicity: African American

3. CALVIN O’KEEFE

• Gender: Male
• Age: 15 to 16 years
• Ethnicity: Latino, Asian, Middle Eastern, etc.

How to Apply

Interested candidates are directed to follow the following procedure to apply for their desired roles:

• Photograph: 3 to 4 full photos, digital photo, selfies are welcome. It must be saved with your name as: FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME_.JPG (NOT .GIF, .BMP, .TIF,etc)

• Resume: Resume format must be .PDF (DOC. or others are not accepted), avoid adding links, age must be mentioned. For the younger kids, parents must send a similar document with appropriate details.
• Contact information: Viable contact information must be added, preferably more than one contact number, if possible.

Applications from all over the country will be entertained. It is a nationwide call. The auditions will take place on July 5, 2016 in Baltimore.
