FOX PilotA-list writer-executive producer team of Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci (Star Trek) have agreed to produce FOX’s new supernatural thriller pilot Sleepy Hollow. Described as a modern–day supernatural thriller based on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, it follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s local female sheriff to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil. The two producers have teamed up on many projects including Hawaii Five-0, and  Cowboys & Aliens. We have learned that the directors are now taking talent applications for several extra and feature roles for Sleepy Hollow. Do not miss out on your once in a lifetime chance to appear on FOX and work with the producers of Star Trek, apply now.

The project, written and exec-produced by Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci, is described as a modern-day supernatural thriller based on the legend of the titular Westchester County, N.Y. town.

Mison’s Ichabod Crane is a Revolutionary War captain who takes off a horseman’s head and then somehow time-travels to the present, where he proves a beneficial partner to a local detective (played by Nicole Beharie, The Good Wife) when his enemy The Headless Horseman comes back to haunt the town.

The release date for the pilot has not been yet announced but the casting directors at FOX are now taking submissions for general extras and stand in roles for Sleepy Hollow. They are now taking submissions for union and non union actors of all ages. I always wanted to play a vampire in something.
