Lionsgate Film Presto Casting Call for a Real Tattoo Artist

Filming has begun on Presto, a Lionsgate film originally titled Nerve, in the New York City area.

It was previously reported that Henry Joost and Ariel Shulman will direct the young adult thriller based on Jeanne Ryan’s novel. The directing duo broke through with their Sundance hit Catfish and went on to direct Paramount’s Paranormal Activity 3.

Presto will star Emma Roberts best known for her roles in American Horror Story and We’re the Millers and Dave Franco best known for his roles in 22 Jump Street and Warm Bodies.

Jeanne Ryan’s novel is based around a younger gamer, Vee, who gets involved in an online game called NERVE. NERVE is an anonymous game of dares broadcast live online, she discovers that the game is eerily familiar with her. The game tempts her with prizes from her THISISME page and teams her up with a the perfect partner, extremely hot and tempting Ian. At first Vee finds the game thrilling and exhilarating as their fans cheer them on to riskier dares with higher stakes. But the games take a twisted, dangerous turn when they are sent to a secret location with 5 other teams for the Grand Prize round. Suddenly they’re playing all or nothing, Vee and Ian find themselves playing a game with their lives on the line. How far will they go before they lose their NERVE?

The extras casting team has released a casting call for extras to fill several roles in an upcoming scene. The casting team is seeking a Real Tattoo Artist. To be considered as for the role you must have full availability on April 16^th and 17^th.

Seeking SAG-AFTRA/NU to portray Real Tattoo Artist for upcoming work on film Nerve starring Emma Roberts and Dave Franco. Works most likely Thurs. 4/16 (possibly matching Fri. 4/17) in NYC area.
