NBC’s “The Blacklist: Redemption” Calling Actors in NYC

Casting teams need men and women actors to portray Syrian, Eastern Turkish, Armenian, refugees and pedestrians to work on the upcoming NBC series The Blacklist: Redemption season 1. Filming will take place on Tuesday, January 24th in New York City.

The Blacklist: Redemption is an upcoming American crime thriller television series that is expected to premiere on NBC in 2018. The series is a spin-off from the very popular NBC series, The Blacklist.  It stars Famke Jamssen as the president of a private military company home to professional operatives.  Some of the operatives are from the original The Blacklist.  Their goals are ambitious, but mainly focusing on hard-to-crack cases withing the United States.  They are basically CIA operatives that are privately funded and located strictly in the United States.  The new series was ordered by NBC in 2016 and is set to premiere on February 23rd, 2018.

The casting team currently needs people for the last two episodes of the first season.  The final episodes will feature scenes with refugees from the Middle East.  They need to hire dozens of actors to portray distraught refugees looking for a safe home.
