Emmy Award winning show, The Voice, will return to NBC and is looking for the country’s strongest singers to compete with the help from mega coaches for a record contract and $100,000.

 

Season 7 of the competition was a star studded and song-filled finale, where a new champion was crowned. Although season 7 brought hit maker Pharrell and lead singer Gwen Stefanie as this seasons fill in coaches it was the veteran coaches who went head to head at the Grand Finale. Four male singers made it to the finale performance, three from coach Adam Levine (Matt McAndrew, Chris Jamison and wild-card Damien) and one from Blake Shelton’s team (Craig Wayne Boyd). With the odds stacked against him Craig Wayne Boyd was crowned the competition’s winner giving Blake Shelton a total of four wins.

And for the first time in The Voice history the four finalists performed an original song which was composed by their coaches and professional songwriters.

 

Now it is time for you to turn a chair and get a coveted spot on a coach’s team. You can audition for The Voice Season 8 where you will see the return of coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton who will be joined by returning coach Christina Aguilera and Pharrell. Do you think you have what it takes?

“The Voice” is the Emmy Award winning, number one series on NBC, featuring the country’s best unknown artists and four of the biggest names in music as coaches.

The Voice is holding casting calls for solo artists and duos that perform all types of music: pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, alternative, latin, country, blues, indie. We want to know your story and why you are The Voice.

Auditions for “The Voice” will be sweeping the nation again beginning January 2015!

To audition you must be legally present in the United States, be 15 years of age or older, and meet all other eligibility requirements.

  7. Hey, I’m Ashly! I’m just another “rebellious 13 year old hooligan” as most would say but this rebel has a voice. I’ve been in a school choir for 3 years and I also participated in a church choir. I’m not going to say “music is my life” because honestly, it’s not true. Its something to distract me from my life. I was diagnosed with major depression at the age of 8 and now I have anxiety, depression, depersonalization disorder, bipolarity, and I used to be anorexic. Its been rough and having all these things to deal with made it worse, but no matter how lonely, helpless, a and misunderstood I felt, I always had a song to envelop my heart and take me away. Everything has been getting better recently but through out all this time, I’ve always had a melody in my life. I’ve always kept in mind that music has always empowered me and helped me slay the demons I couldn’t take down on my own. You know that one intense song that plays in video games that pumps you up and gets you ready to defeat the opponent and claim victory like a warrior, I always had that feeling when I listened to music: no matter if it was Eminem,The Neon Trees, The Killers, Atilla, Cage the Elephant, G Easy, k pop, Lana Del Rey, My Chemical Romance, Marina and the Diamonds, Lily Allen, Il Vollo, or crazy Mexican music my family plays at their parties with about 3 million of my relatives. I’m known for my interesting change when I get into the music. I never like to think about singing to a crowd,people in underwear, stuffed animals, or empty chairs. I take myself to wear I feel like I’m better than Oprah, ruler of the universe, the first one to get a slice of cake AND ice cream at a party: the shower. We all know that’s where we feel like the best singers ever and go all out, water fall and everything. I may be a free minded individual who still believes in the possibility of becoming a mermaid some day, but remember, mermaids can sing.

  106. Hello, I am 5.3 1/2 and am really wanting a chance to be on your show. It has been my dream since I was 14 to go up on your stage and give you all I got. I have been singing since I was 3. but I can’t make it to you show because right now I am 17 and have no money to get to show you all I got. maybe in 2016.. :\ I hope I at least get a reply from you guys.     • I auditioned for The Voice Feb 15, 2015 and it was a wonderful experience. I was told I have a BEAUTIFUL voice, bc I had my eyes closed during the audition and I thought was going to be given another chance to sing, but nonetheless, I definitely learned from this. I will be auditioning on video and hopefully The Voice will change their minds and pick me for their show.

    • I’m Sam and I’m 15. I think being given this opportunity will let people know im independent and can really show people im not afraid. Singing is the only thing that makes me feel like a person, it makes me feel alive. One of the reasons I’m doing this is because people at my school never take notice of me. I fell like by doing this then they know I am a person and I can spread my wings. Please take me into consideration. All I want is for people to know I can sing.
