Season 2 of Netflix’s “Stranger Things” Needs Actors

Casting directors need talented actors to play two lead roles in the new season of Stranger Things.  They are specifically looking for one male and one female to play teachers in several scenes.  These are considered featured roles and if chosen you will have multiple speaking roles.  They are also looking for extras to play people in a motel and nurses in other scenes.  The filming for these particular parts will take place on March 10th 2018.

Stranger Things is a Netflix Original that premiered on July 15th, 2016.  It is a science fiction-horror television series created by the Duffer Brothers, inspired by the 1980’s quirky horror genre.  Stranger Things pays homage to the 80’s by using the same type of characterization, pacing, soundtrack, directing, and acting.  It stars Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp.

Teacher Featured Role: Looking for a male in his 30’s or 40’s.  Must be very friendly and filled with enthusiasm.  Your look and style does not really matter for this part, but you have to be very talented.

Teacher Featured Role: Looking for a female in her 20’s or 30’s. This teacher is not very friendly, but she is a good leader when it comes to certain situations.

Nurses and Motel Patrons: All types of people

This is a great opportunity to appear in one of Netflix’s biggest shows.  The first season had millions of views, and the second will surely follow suit.  Being apart of a premier Netflix show will boost your acting portfolio immensely.  As an actor, appearing in a variety of shows, movies, and commercials will give you more credits to show future employers.  Eventually you will land that huge role, and you will look back and be thankful for all the smaller roles you took that helped you gain experience and confidence.
